DEIF Denmark (HQ)

At DEIF A/S, excellent customer service is essential and extends far beyond the product delivery date.

To us, training is an integral part of customer service, and we have many years of experience in training customers in the use of our products and applications.

In addition to courses at our in-house training facilities, we offer on-site training at your premises using your own switchboard.

Training centre

AGC simulator

The simulator environment consists of real 1 kW – 400 volt generators that can synchronise, loadshare and run in parallel with mains, giving you the opportunity to see and hear exactly what is happening. You will be able to see that you have programmed the right start sequence and hear that the regulation is correctly tuned.

The environment enables you to simulate for instance basic tests of regulators and application sequences such as Automatic Mains Failure or fixed power. It will also give you a better understanding of the possibilities for customised solutions.

In particular, simulation of the power management functions will give you an overview of why the AGC should be your choice to handle all applications, right from simple island applications with load-dependent start/stop and load sharing to the more sophisticated applications with several Mains connections and bus tie breakers to split the bus or to make bus ring connections. All handled in the same application.

PPM-3 simulator

The PPM-3 simulator switchboard was installed in DEIF A/S in August 2008 and has been designed specifically for marine applications.

The simulator switchboard contains four AC generators built into the switchboard to simulate auxiliary diesel generators and one separate AC generator panel to simulate an emergency/harbour generator. This makes it possible to simulate power management functions such as load-dependent start/stop, priority selection, heavy consumer control, blackout start and tripping of non-essential load groups with real load conditions.

The switchboard is built up in sections and can handle various applications with up to four diesel generators, two shaft generators/shore connections, one bus tiebreaker and one emergency/harbour generator within the same application.

Equipped with analogue instruments and check synchroscopes, even manual operation functions can be tested.
